Lt Col Eamonn D. O’Shea is the Commander, 336th Recruiting Squadron, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. He commands nine enlisted accession flights, recruiting operations flight and recruiting support flight comprised of 108 active duty Airmen and civilian personnel across Georgia, South Carolina and Florida.
Lt Col O’Shea entered the Air Force in 2009 as a Distinguished Graduate of Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps at The Ohio State University, commissioning as a Second Lieutenant. He was one of the first officers to be selected into the newly created Air Liaison Officer careerfield, now called Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) Officer and one of the first of five to attend Air Liaison Basic Course at Hurlburt Field, Florida graduating in November 2009. He has been on active duty for over thirteen years, and prior to his most recent assignment he was the Chief of Safety and A5 Director of Wing Plans and Requirements, 93d Air Ground Operations Wing, Moody AFB, GA, where he directed the wing safety program for over 2300 Airmen across 13 states in 4 groups 16 squadrons, 8 detachments' Col O’Shea deployed in support of Operations Resolute Support, as a Strike Director for Special Operations Joint Task Force, Afghanistan from July 2019 to March 2020 leading 24 Joint Terminal Attack Controllers.
