The 345th Recruiting Squadron, commanded by Lt. Col. Matthew T. Novotney directs and operates the recruiting activities of nine enlisted accession flights with approximately 120 active-duty and 14 civilian personnel.
The 345th RCS is located at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, and covers a 118,000-square-mile area that includes southern Illinois, eastern Missouri, western Tennessee, Paducah Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana and northeast Texas. Its mission is to inspire, engage and recruit the next generation of Airmen.
