Lisa Russey by 367th Recruiting Squadron COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Members of the 367th Recruiting Squadron here recently trained 20 second lieutenants, from the U.S. Air Force Academy admissions diversity recruiting team, critical recruiting skills necessary to help them accomplish their mission of recruiting from across the Broadest Landscape. Recruiting highly qualified candidates from all races and ethnic backgrounds, from all across the country, and from every walk of life is a top priority for the Air Force and the Air Force Recruiting Service The 367th RCS training team was led by Senior Master Sgt. Mike Sadler, 367th RCS senior trainer. The training covered sales skills, common misconceptions, community outreach, local squadron partnerships, cross-flow, effective presentations, and total Air Force recruiting. Trainers reinforced the classroom briefs and demonstrations with role play scenarios that allowed the lieutenants to practice what they learned as well as critique each other for a more effective learning experience. The 367th RCS team also helped the USAFA recruiters develop a product profile to outline the benefits of attending the Air Force Academy. The product profile provides a consistent message throughout the recruiting process.
