U.S. Air Force, Professional Bull Riders Extend Partnership Published March 17, 2010 By Air Force Recruiting Service Public Affairs RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas -- Air Force Recruiting Service officials announced this week it will continue its partnership with the Professional Bull Riders, Inc. for another season of international bull-riding competition. The partnership is intended to help the Air Force in its recruiting, outreach and awareness while demonstrating the Air Force's core values of Integrity first, Service before self and Excellence in all we do. The U.S. Air Force will continue to be known as the official armed services branch of the PBR. "The Air Force is extremely excited about partnering with the Professional Bull Riders again this year," said Brig. Gen. A.J. Stewart, Air Force Recruiting Service commander. "The Air Force and PBR both represent excellence. I am proud to be associated with this world-class organization and to have the opportunity to inspire and engage with the young men and women who enjoy these events." "The PBR is excited to extend our partnership with the United States Air Force, an organization for which we have the utmost respect," said Kevin Camper, chief sales and marketing officer for the PBR. "From our riders to our stock contractors to our staff, we have the highest regard for all of the men and women who serve and protect our country. The PBR not only considers it an honor and a privilege to represent the United States Air Force, but feels that it is a natural fit into the core values of our company and our tremendous fans." The partnership with PBR will allow the Air Force to be visible during event opening ceremonies using videos, swearing-in ceremonies, color guard and other means. The first event of the renewed partnership will be the Built Ford Tough Invitational March 5-7 in Kansas City, Mo., which is the 11th stop on the elite Built Ford Tough Series. The Air Force will work with PBR to create local activation and outreach opportunities including high school visits and FFA Leadership Conferences where the PBR will provide assets such as bull riders, bullfighters, live bulls and equipment.
