Get on board with mobile lead app Published Feb. 11, 2016 By Frank Radis Air Force Recruiting Service Strategic Marketing Division JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas -- More than 500 recruiters have downloaded and are using the Mobile Lead Capture Application since it was launched in November 2015. This app was designed to provide Air Force recruiters with a hi-tech solution to capture prospect information and replace NCR cards. Once downloaded and activated, this application is accessible on government-issued iPhones or iPads. Leads entered into the MLCA automatically upload to AFRISS accounts in approximately 24 hours. Recruiters can use the MLCA for capturing leads while on appointments such as school visits or during zone canvassing. The MLCA also provides lead sourcing for national events and conventions so recruiters can accurately capture prospect information when working those assignments. For those recruiters who have not downloaded the app, please follow the instructions below: 1. Start by viewing this tutorial video, which will explain how to set up and use the application. 2. Recruiters are required to use their billet ID to set up the application. To get your billet ID, contact me at frank.radis.2@us.af.mil. 3. To get assistance with problems, contact mlcasupport@airforce.com 4. Once the MLCA has been set up, enter a test lead. When doing so, do not use "test" or "John Doe" in the test record as the data hygiene process will suppress these records. If leads that were loaded into the application do not arrive in AFRISS, contact me. I need your name and billet ID as a minimum; having the lead's name will greatly assist in tracking the lead. Reasons for leads not showing up in the AFRISS lead bucket include: the zip code mapping for the billet is wrong, lead suppression, too young, etc. Again, let me know so we can re-trace the lead and get an answer. Ensure the lead fills out the form completely. Presently leads are delivered only once a day to AFRISS. Marketing is currently working with the AFRISS team to send leads more than once a day; this should help with any latency issues. We are in the process of an upgrade for the MLCA, based on your feedback. In addition to fixing bugs and quirks, we are researching security measures so leads can still be collected for recruiters without cell or WiFi service; once you have service, the leads can then be pushed through the system.
