Sharon Presley 345th Recruiting Squadron commander CHESTERFIELD, Mo. -- Aviation's history, heritage, and future were on display May 3-4 at the Spirit of St Louis Air Show and STEM Expo in Chesterfield, Mo. Members of the 345th Recruiting Squadron, including Staff Sgt. Nicholas Miano, training NCO; Tech. Sgt. Daniel Hopper, marketing NCO; Master Sgt. Andrew Flores, enlisted accessions recruiter in Fairview Heights, Ill.; Master Sgt. Darlene Poindexter, D-Flight chief; and Capt. Brian Kroeger, operations flight commander, optimized the opportunity to inspire America's best and brightest. They had support from the Vapor Supercar team, the 375th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal team, and Tech. Sgt. David Lang, a KC-10 boom operator currently assigned to the Tanker/Airlift Control Center. They also took the opportunity to remember Air Force history and heritage. The team set up shop next to the Veterans Village, an area set up for military members who were about to return to civilian life. The auspicious location enabled them to interact with veterans of several wars. The team also took the opportunity to learn about historic aircraft including the B-25, AT-6 and B-17 Flying Fortress.
