John Horner Air Force Recruiting Service commander JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas -- Each year, AFRS selects the most outstanding Airmen in our command as Operation Blue Suit winners. Winners are nominated and selected from nearly 2,400 recruiting personnel, recognizing them for their outstanding contributions to the Air Force recruiting mission. The Operation Blue Suit tradition started in 1979, recognizing individuals who surpassed all recruiting goals, displayed the highest leadership qualities and had the most impact on the recruiting mission.
