Recruiting takes center stage at NASCAR
Brig. Gen. Balan R. Ayyar, commander of Air Force Recruiting Service, swears in more than 20 future Airmen at Homestead-Miami International Speedway Nov. 21, 2010, in front of more than 50,000 fans before the start of NASCAR's Ford 400 Championship Weekend Race. The 333rd Recruiting Squadron coordinated the ceremony and other events, featuring Elliott Sadler, driver of the Air Force No. 19 car. Mr. Sadler signed autographs and greeted future Airmen, recruiters and fans at the 333rd RCS recruiting booth. The pre-race show culminated with a fly-over of four F-16 Fighting Falcons.
