Air Force Recruiting Service Command Chief Master Sgt. William Cavenaugh, Brig. Gen. John Horner, AFRS commander, and Staff Sgt. Austin Dalrymple stand on the presidential inauguration balcony at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., June 10. Dalrymple is a recruiter with the 317th Recruiting Squadron D-Flight. He was named an outstanding performer in his squadron, and was selected to accompany the commander and command chief on their visit to Capitol Hill. The three spoke with representatives from California, Texas and Florida, the top three states for Air Force recruits, and also spoke on military benefits and challenges in recruiting. “We also toured the capitol and spoke with Air Force liaisons in the House and Senate. Overall, it was a great visit and I learned a lot about the history of the capitol and how we conduct business there,” Dalrymple said. (Courtesy photo)
