JBSA, Lackland ISD promotes STEM programs
Col. Robert W. Trayers Jr., Air Force Recruiting Service vice commander, and Lt. Col. Steven Lamb, 502nd Installation Support Group vice commander, visited the Bots in Blue Feb. 13, 2019, at Virginia Allred Stacey Junior/Senior High School at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The purpose of the visit was to see Lackland Independent School District’s science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) programs. The Bots in Blue designs, builds, and programs operates robots to compete head-to-head against other FIRST Tech Challenge teams on a special playing field. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
