Family Child Care Provides Families An Alternative to the Child Development Center
Joint Base Langley-Eustis

If you are a D-O-D employee with young children then you are likely familiar with your child development center, or C-D-C. Family Child Care, or F-C-C, provides families an alternative to the C-D-C. F-C-C providers offer a smaller home environment that is still regulated and monitored by the Air Force. The Mission Support Group Commander approves providers for certification. F-C-C staff conducts monthly provider screening, background checks, and home visits. Each provider attends orientation training, First Aid and C-P-R classes. Additionally, the Extended Duty Care Program is available through the F-C-C Office for those families that may need childcare beyond the C-D-C's regular business hours. For more information, please contact your F-C-C office. More
