Gunfighter of the Week SrA Robinson
366th Fighter Wing
Video by Airman 1st Class Krista Reed Choate
Oct. 25, 2022 | 1:01
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Melissa Robinson, 366th Maintenance Squadron aerospace propulsion journeyman, introduces herself as Gunfighter of the Week on Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, Oct. 21, 2022. Robinson exemplified 366th Fighter Wing Mission Priorities. She was vital to the restoration of three F100-220 engine modules, enabling the production of four spare engines, ensuring the 389th Fighter Squadron’s sustained deployment lethality. She showcased her passion for taking care of people by facilitating five squadron immersion tours and welcomed 112 new “War Eagles” into the Mountain Home Area. She completed a Six Sigma Lean Principles Green Belt course and leveraged her skills to increase engine production by re-organizing her work center and successfully eliminating unnecessary process motions during maintenance. Robinson was the driving force behind the development and training of three Airmen on 45 upgrade training tasks, and her ingenuity, selfless dedication, and enthusiasm for growth make her a vital member of the Gunfighter team.
