Lieutenant Colonel WOODDY S. MILLER

Lt. Col. Wooddy Miller is the Commander, 367th Recruiting Squadron, 372nd Recruiting Group, Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is responsible for 11 flights and over 100 personnel spread throughout eight states in the Western United States including all or parts of Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah.

The Lt. Col. entered the Air Force in May 2008 through the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo. He earned advanced technical degrees from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 2010 and 2015 focusing on Directed Energy technology. He has also done work in Nuclear Survivability for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and Force Modernization for the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center. The Lt. Col. worked as a Program Element Monitor in SAF/AQ at the Pentagon and at the Air Force Office of Scientific Research leading the Optoelectronics & Photonics portfolio. Prior to this assignment he was the Senior Scientist, Nuclear Forensics within the Nuclear Detection Division within the Defense Threat Reduction Agency where he worked on enhancing current nuclear forensics systems and charting the roadmap for future systems.

During his time in the United States Air Force, Lt. Col. Miller has supported international exercises Key Resolve and Ulchi-Freedom Guardian as a DTRA Reachback SME. He also provided expertise as a science and technology advisor during a 6 month contingency temporary duty with the United States Army Special Operations Command.

Lieutenant Colonel WOODDY S. MILLER

Lt. Col. Wooddy Miller is the Commander, 367th Recruiting Squadron, 372nd Recruiting Group, Colorado Springs, Colorado. He is responsible for 11 flights and over 100 personnel spread throughout eight states in the Western United States including all or parts of Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah.

The Lt. Col. entered the Air Force in May 2008 through the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo. He earned advanced technical degrees from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 2010 and 2015 focusing on Directed Energy technology. He has also done work in Nuclear Survivability for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, and Force Modernization for the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center. The Lt. Col. worked as a Program Element Monitor in SAF/AQ at the Pentagon and at the Air Force Office of Scientific Research leading the Optoelectronics & Photonics portfolio. Prior to this assignment he was the Senior Scientist, Nuclear Forensics within the Nuclear Detection Division within the Defense Threat Reduction Agency where he worked on enhancing current nuclear forensics systems and charting the roadmap for future systems.

During his time in the United States Air Force, Lt. Col. Miller has supported international exercises Key Resolve and Ulchi-Freedom Guardian as a DTRA Reachback SME. He also provided expertise as a science and technology advisor during a 6 month contingency temporary duty with the United States Army Special Operations Command.
