The Aim High Flight Academy (AHFA) is an aviation scholarship for a three-week introductory flight program at various universities across the United States. 

The mission of the AHFA is to inform, influence, and inspire the next generation of aviators and leaders. After completion of the AHFA program, students will understand pathways to become an Air Force officer, aviator, and earn up to 15 flight hours while attending a three-week session.

AHFA pairs high school students, USAFA, and AFROTC cadets with current Air Force members who provide mentorship about the various aviation professions and career fields.

2027 AHFA Application window will open in FALL 2026. WE EXPECT TO OPEN THE APPLICATION WINDOW 1 October - 15 november

Be at least 16 years old by 1 June of the flight training year.
Be enrolled in high school or homeschool during the flight training year.
Be a US citizen
Have no more than 5 powered flight hours by the start of AHFA summer session
3.0 current Grade Point Average either with an unofficial GPA Transcript or a registrar/counselor verifiable memorandum.

No flight or aviation experience necessary (we teach you to fly!)
No commitment or obligation to the Air Force
