LIEUTENANT COLONEL SEAN “STREAK” FAZANDE ED.D.

Lt Col Sean M. Fazande, Master Air Battle Manager, is currently serving as the commander of the 313th Recruiting Squadron, Syracuse, New York. He leads55 recruiting stations and 4 military entrance processing station elements across the entire state of New York and parts of Pennsylvania to inspire 1200+ qualified candidates annually to seek opportunities in the U.S. Air Force.

Lt Col Fazande joined the United States Navy in 1997 where he progressed to the rank of Aviation Machinist mate Second Class Petty Officer maintaining H-60/ C-130s and performed carrier operations. He graduated in 2005 from Northwood University and earned his commission as a United States Air Force Officer through Officer Training School, Maxwell AFB. With over 27 years of active-duty service, Lt Col Fazande, as a Master Air Battle Manager, has logged more than 1,800 combat and training flight hours while flying on the E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft as an operator, instructor, and evaluator, as well as over 230 Control and Reporting Center hours conducting combat operations in defense of the Korean peninsula.


In addition, Lt Col Fazande has worked in various positions at ACSC, the 325 TRSS, 81 ACS, 337 ACS, 966 AACS, 621 ACS, 963 AACS, and 965 AACS. He has
deployed in support of numerous campaigns including Operations ALLIED FORCE, SOUTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, ODYSSEY DAWN, and INHERENT RESOLVE. Prior to his current position, the Lt Col was the Course Director for Air Power, Global College of PME/ACSC, Maxwell AFB, Alabama.
