The 338th Recruiting Squadron from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base helped show visitors what the Air Force is all about at the Dayton International 2008 Air Show June 20. The event attracted about 90,000 enthusiasts and provided an ideal environment for recruiters to talk to people about today's air power.

One of the highlight events featured General Bruce Carlson, Air Force Material Command commander, conducting a swearing-in ceremony for 40 new recruits in front of the Air Force's newest fighter aircraft, the F-22 Raptor. The F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team from Langley Air Force Base, Va., shared their congratulations and talked about the Air Force with the new recruits before their ceremony.
