The Air Force begins its 15th year of sponsorship in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, partnering with Richard Petty Motorsports for a seventh consecutive season in 2015.

Air Force Recruiting Service, which oversees the partnership with RPM, sees the continued association as an opportunity to reflect Air Force core values while generating public awareness about the Air Force, its people and mission.

"Our NASCAR sponsorship helps us reach out to a very large audience, (over 3.5 million attendees), with a relatively small footprint and is a venue that aligns well with our target audience," said Capt. Jacob Chisolm, Air Force Recruiting Service National Events Branch chief. "Educating key community influencers and parents on Air Force core values and the opportunities available to young people is a force-multiplier.

Richard Petty Motorsports and driver, Aric Almirola, are a competitive team in the world of NASCAR today," Chisolm said. "Richard Petty features a world-class roster of Fortune 500 partners, and their family demeanor, patriotism and commitment is a great fit for the Air Force."

As an associate partner of the No. 43 car, the Air Force Racing Ford will be featured for the two most patriotic race weekends of the year: Memorial Day weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway, North Carolina; and the Fourth of July weekend race at Daytona International Speedway, Florida.
