The 314th Air Force Recruiting Squadron held a final Delayed Entry Program Call for Staff Sgt. Timothy Drolet, enlisted recruiter in Scranton, Pa.

DEP members of Drolet's, Staff Sgt. Jeffrey Huber, another enlisted recruiter in Scranton, and Staff Sgt. Andre Morgan, an enlisted recruiter in Stroudsburg, competed for three top positions in male and female divisions in the first Air Force Crossfit Olympics held at Scranton Crossfit.

The athletes competed in five workouts of the day, which consisted of exercises such as push-ups, sit-ups, rowing, pull-ups and bar hangs. Athletes had proper instruction from Dane Kozlevcar, a certified trainer and owner of DK Crossfit in Old Force, Pa.

This event was special to Drolet because it was his last event with his DEP as he passed the reins on to Huber. Drolet has been instrumental in the recruiting of Battlefield Airmen during his four years as a recruiter. He found numerous BA applicants at CrossFit and other fitness-related events. Drolet is returning to the security forces career field at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo.

"This type of structure and instruction is something that helps our future Airmen prepare for basic training, and if qualified, Special Forces training," Huber said.
