The 314th Recruiting Squadron joined forces with Army, Navy, Marine and Coast Guard recruiters over the Independence Day weekend to conduct an 85-member Delayed Entry Program swear-in here before a nationally televised Indy race audience of 35,000 people.

The military DEP members and active duty Airmen represented each state in the union; and an honor guard detail made up of members from the 314th RCS, presented the U.S. flag during the national anthem prior to the race.
The Air Force mobile marketing asset, Command Center Alpha, was also on display to offer race goers the opportunity to learn about the breadth and variety of opportunities the Air Force has to offer.

Command Center Alpha is an augmented reality mobile tour experience that immerses visitors in the "sci-fi" world of the U.S. Air Force. The interactive tour includes 3-D computer graphics, videos, educational kiosks, digital downloads and a full-size F-16 Thunderbird display.

Augmented reality is an interactive experience where virtual components are dynamically merged into a live video stream in real-time. Visitors are given handheld devices and when placed on triggers located throughout the footprint, they are able to experience augmented reality in the form of 3-D animations and video.
