Colonel COLONEL TAMEESHA P. COATNEY

Colonel Tameesha P. Coatney is the Chief, Manpower, Personnel, and Logistics for Air Force Recruiting Service. As Chief, she leads all manpower and personnel actions directing assignments for more than 2,890 Active Duty and Civilian personnel dispersed across all 50 states, the Caribbean, Europe, and the Pacific. Col Coatney oversees the selection of approximately 400 new recruiters annually. In addition, she directs the Recruiting Service logistics portfolio and is responsible for the largest GSA vehicle fleet in the Department of the Air Force – coordinating with the Army Corps of Engineers on real estate requirements for over one thousand recruiting offices world-wide.
Colonel Coatney received her commission through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the University of Cincinnati where she earned the League of America Award; given to a cadet who demonstrates outstanding leadership, moral character, and a high aptitude for military service. Upon graduation Colonel Coatney was accepted into AFITs Educational Delay program and received her Masters of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement. Colonel Coatney has a diverse Air Force career working in four different career fields: Recruiting Squadron Commander, Manpower and Organization, Personnel, and Services. She has served with distinction in a variety of leadership positions at wing, Major Command, Combatant Command, Headquarters Air Force level, Office of Secretary of Defense and deployed.

Colonel Tameesha P. Coatney is the Chief, Manpower, Personnel, and Logistics for Air Force Recruiting Service. As Chief, she leads all manpower and personnel actions directing assignments for more than 2,890 Active Duty and Civilian personnel dispersed across all 50 states, the Caribbean, Europe, and the Pacific. Col Coatney oversees the selection of approximately 400 new recruiters annually. In addition, she directs the Recruiting Service logistics portfolio and is responsible for the largest GSA vehicle fleet in the Department of the Air Force – coordinating with the Army Corps of Engineers on real estate requirements for over one thousand recruiting offices world-wide.
Colonel Coatney received her commission through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the University of Cincinnati where she earned the League of America Award; given to a cadet who demonstrates outstanding leadership, moral character, and a high aptitude for military service. Upon graduation Colonel Coatney was accepted into AFITs Educational Delay program and received her Masters of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement. Colonel Coatney has a diverse Air Force career working in four different career fields: Recruiting Squadron Commander, Manpower and Organization, Personnel, and Services. She has served with distinction in a variety of leadership positions at wing, Major Command, Combatant Command, Headquarters Air Force level, Office of Secretary of Defense and deployed.
