Lt. Col. Dan Breiding is the commander, 330th Recruiting Squadron, San Antonio, Texas. He commands a team of 132 Special Warfare recruiters who scout, develop, and guide future Special Warfare and Combat Support Airmen to their combat calling. The 330th Recruiting Squadron is the largest and most geographically dispersed squadron within Air Force Recruiting Service.
Lt. Col. Breiding earned his commission from the United States Air Force Academy in 2007. As a Special Tactics Officer, Lt. Col. Breiding has trained, equipped, and led highly skilled Special Tactics Teams for rapid global employments in Africa, Afghanistan, and multiple locations throughout Asia, in support of command objectives. He holds multiple advanced qualifications such as air traffic controller, static line jumper, military freefall jumper, combat diver, and joint terminal attack controller.
Prior to his current assignment, Lt. Col. Breiding served as the Deputy Chief, J8 Requirements Division, U.S. Special Operations Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.
