Lieutenant Colonel Jacinta F. Anderson is the Commander, 314th Recruiting Squadron, Burlington, New Jersey. The 314th is comprised of 72 recruiting and 21 support personnel responsible for the recruiting mission throughout all of New Jersey and Delaware, in addition to sections of Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
Previously, Lieutenant Colonel Anderson served as the Deputy Director of Mission Support at Air Force Security Assistance and Training (AFSAT), San Antonio, TX where she supervised a team responsible for the Air Force’s international training mission valued at over $11B with activities touching 150 nations. Prior to that, Lt Col Anderson was the Exercises, Engagements, and Training Branch Chief at United States Military Training Mission (USMTM) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In that position she was the primary Education and Training Advisor to Saudi Arabia’s Joint Staff responsible for coordinating DoD’s largest Foreign Military Sales funded international student training enterprise. Lieutenant Colonel Anderson also served as the Director of the Theater Engagement Department at United States Air Force Special Operations School (USAFSOS), Hurlburt Field, FL where she led an 18-member Department responsible for the development and delivery of thirteen courses and two pipelines which educated special operators on combatant command specific strategy, culture, and security cooperation initiatives.
As a Major, Lieutenant Colonel Anderson served as the Deputy Speechwriter to the Commander, United States Forces Korea (USFK) at Camp Humphreys, South Korea; and as the Regional Engagement Strategist for Air Forces Central Command (AFCENT), Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. She attended Naval Postgraduate School to receive her degree in National Security, Middle East studies and she attended the Defense Language Institute to learn Arabic.
