CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT DEREK A. HUDSON

Chief Master Sgt. Derek A. Hudson is the Senior Enlisted Leader of the 367th Recruiting Group, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. As the Group Senior Enlisted Leader, he executes the commander’s intent and is responsible for advising on all aspects of employment, training, readiness, resilience, and development for more than 450 military personnel at 240 locations worldwide. The Group is responsible for all accessions required to meet reserve readiness and end-strength requirements. He also advises the commander on requirements at the direction of Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command recruiting entities and higher Headquarters liaison teams, to include integration optimization and talent management.

Chief Master Sgt. Hudson is a native of Denver, CO. He joined the Air Force in July 1999. After Basic and Technical Training, he was assigned to the 9th Fighter Squadron, Holloman AFB, NM as a tactical aircraft maintenance technician where he worked on the F-117a Stealth Fighter. In Feb 2003, he deployed to Al Udeid AB, Qatar in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In January 2004, Chief Hudson volunteered to become an Air Force Recruiter and has since excelled in multiple positions to include Line Recruiter, In-Service Recruiter, HQ Production Analyst, Flight Chief, and Senior Enlisted Leader for both RegAF and AFR.
